3 1/2 c. flour
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. rye flour
1 c. cornmeal
2 c. cracked wheat
1/2 c. milk powder
1 T. salt
2 1/2 c. liquid
1 egg
1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm
water
In a very large bowl, combine the dry ingredients.

Add the yeast and liquid
( which can be water, chicken or turkey stock, beef stock or broth, etc).
Mix into a very stiff dough (more flour or liquid may be needed), then
knead for 3 min. Roll dough into 1/4 inch sheets (thicker for large dogs).

Cut into appropriate squares or use cookie cutters.
Place on baking sheets and bake in 300 oven for 45 min. Turn off the
heat, leaving oven door closed, and leave in the oven overnight.

Make appropriate substitutions if your dog has allergies. Add a little honey,
or molasses, or add vitamins. Mix in extra eggs, bacon fat, or whatever.
