Hello everyone!
I'm Patty, Jenn's "other half", and surrogate Mom to Luke.
Thank you for allowing me to join the group. This is the first group I've joined, so please bear with me while I figure out how to work everything.
Jenn has talked about this group quite a bit since she  joined after bringing Luke home, and encouraged me to join as well, so I could learn more about Great Danes, and meet some of the wonderful people she said were in here.
Luke is the first Great Dane I've ever seen in person. I had no knowledge at all about them before Jenn started talking NON STOP about wanting one of her own. It has been a dream of hers since she was little and trust me when I tell you, it was ALL she talked about!LOL She started doing research online a few years ago and every night I would listen while she rattled off all she had learned.
I learned new words like, zoomies, all the different colors they come in, everything she could find on personalities and behavioral traits. I truly thought she'd never shut up, but when she finally did get him, it only got worse!LOL
Now that he's here, I have really grown to love him in a very short time. The funny thing is, it seems like he's been here forever and he's truly captured the hearts of everyone who's met him. 
I look forward to getting to know everyone and sharing stories about our great danes.
