Hunter was brought in to a Greenville, SC shelter yesterday morning. He was hit by a car last night and brought to the local animal emergency clinic. Hunter has a broken femur (left rear leg) and a broken humerus (left front leg). The ER did x rays and we have them. Hunter needed immediate rescue because the shelter didn't have the funds to treat him. Hunter is a purebred Great Dane, male,approximately 12 months old. He weighs 110 lbs and is very sweet. MAGDRL was able to transport him yesterday and he is currently at Dr. Gallaghers office. He's going to need about $5k in surgeries/plates in his legs and around 4+ months of foster care.
